Dimensions, services and installation
A vanity unit has to account for the position of the trap and the connections. For wall-hung units the load capacity of the wall and an accurate installation height also have to be checked.
Materials for wet rooms
Bathrooms call for more resistant materials and carefully finished edges because surfaces are exposed to humidity and temperature changes. In holiday apartments that are not ventilated out of season this matters even more.
