Custom furniture

Custom kitchens built around your space and your habits

A custom kitchen is designed around the real dimensions of the room, the position of services, the chosen appliances and the way you cook. IntraDes manages the whole path: layout and visualization, dimensioned technical drawings, material and hardware selection, production of the elements, and transport and installation on site.

Layout and the work triangle

The layout is planned around the relationship between fridge, sink and hob, with enough landing space on both sides. In smaller rooms a narrower worktop with better drawer organisation is often a better solution than forcing an island.

Services and appliances

Water supply, waste, extraction and electrical connections are defined before production. Appliances are selected early because their dimensions determine the modules: built-in oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and extractor.

Worktops and splashbacks

SolutionCharacteristicsNote
Laminate worktopWidest range of decors, lower price levelMore sensitive to standing water at the edges
Compact laminateThin section, resistant surfaceMore limited decor choice
Quartz compositeConsistent appearance, high resistanceHigher price and heavier to carry in
Natural stoneUnique textureNeeds sealing and more careful maintenance

Storage and internal organisation

In practice deep drawers with organisers are more useful than rows of hinged doors. Tall units up to the ceiling add storage for rarely used items and remove the dust gap above the kitchen.

Kitchen lighting

Task lighting under wall units is planned together with the electrical installation so cables and drivers do not remain visible after installation.

From drawing to installed kitchen

Once the technical documentation is approved, the elements are produced, delivered, carried in, installed and adjusted. Appliances are then connected according to their instructions and a final check is carried out.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to produce a custom kitchen?

The lead time depends on project complexity, selected materials, component availability, drawing approval and the current production schedule. An estimated deadline is defined after the final technical documentation and material selection.

Do you design and make kitchens and wardrobes to measure?

Yes. We design and produce kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom units, built-in systems and other furniture according to the dimensions and function of the space.

Can I choose materials, colours and hardware?

Yes. Materials, decors, worktops, handles, hardware and internal fittings are selected according to the design, function and budget of the project.

Is a 3D visualization the same as a technical drawing?

No. A 3D visualization shows the future appearance of the space, while a technical drawing contains the dimensions and data required for accurate production and installation.
