Interior design adapted to the space, your lifestyle and your budget
IntraDes interior design covers the functional layout of the space, style, materials, colours, lighting, custom-made furniture, selection of standard furniture and the preparation of visualizations. The aim is to align the appearance of the space with its everyday use and the realistic possibilities of the project before anything is built.
Needs analysis
The project starts with a conversation about who uses the space, how many people live there, what bothers you about the current layout and how the space should work day to day. For holiday apartments and rental properties we also analyse guest turnover, maintenance and surface durability.
That conversation produces a list of functional requirements which then guides every decision about layout, storage and materials.
Space planning and layout
Based on the floor plan and the survey, we work out the zoning, circulation, door swings, service positions and realistic furniture dimensions. This is the stage where problems that are expensive to fix later are solved: narrow circulation, insufficient storage or badly positioned lighting.

Moodboard and style direction
The moodboard shows the direction: tones, textures, contrast and the character of the space. It works as an agreement about style before detailed decisions on decors and hardware begin.
Material and colour selection
Materials are chosen for appearance, but also for durability, maintenance and location. Coastal properties, apartments in intensive rental use and family homes do not place the same demands on surfaces, edges and hardware.
Lighting concept
Lighting is planned in layers: general, task and ambient. Positions are defined early enough to be coordinated with the electrical installation and with the custom furniture, for example lighting under wall kitchen units.
3D visualizations and technical drawings
A 3D visualization shows the future look of the space and helps with decisions. A technical drawing is a different document: it carries dimensions, modules, heights and the data needed for production and installation. Good execution needs both.
Furniture specification and budget
For every project we keep a list of elements and clearly mark what is made to measure and what is procured through suppliers. Where useful we propose alternatives at different price levels so the scope can be aligned with the budget before anything is ordered.

Frequently asked questions
How much does interior design or custom-made furniture cost?
The price depends on the floor area, design scope, number of rooms, furniture dimensions, materials, hardware, complexity of production, transport and installation. Once we have the initial information we can define the required scope and prepare a more specific quotation.
Do I need a finished floor plan?
A floor plan is very useful, but it is not always enough for production. Custom-made furniture normally requires an accurate on-site survey before production dimensions are confirmed.
Is a 3D visualization the same as a technical drawing?
No. A 3D visualization shows the future appearance of the space, while a technical drawing contains the dimensions and data required for accurate production and installation.
Do you only take on whole apartments, or single rooms too?
A project can cover the whole interior or a single room, for example a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom or a built-in wardrobe.
